Location
Deep in the mountains. Never far from anything

The lodge sits near the Aska Adventure Area and Springer Mountain — trailheads, waterfalls, and the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail all within reach. Five minutes out, a country store and café. Fifteen minutes, some of the best dining North Georgia has to offer. Thirty minutes, downtown Blue Ridge — shops, wine tastings, the scenic railway. Close enough for a spontaneous afternoon out, far enough that you'll forget it's there until you want it.

For the Trail Runners and the Trail Walkers
Lace up. The mountain starts a few minutes from the porch.
The Aska Trails system is a short drive away — 17 miles of interconnected hiking and biking trails through the Chattahoochee National Forest, climbing to over 3,200 feet with views back down toward Lake Blue Ridge. Long Branch Loop is an easy, shaded starting point; Stanley Gap Trail runs 5.5 miles for those who want the full climb. And for the purists: Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, is close enough to stand at mile marker one and decide — for today, at least — to turn around and come home to a hot tub instead of 2,190 more miles.

Yoga & Meditation, Right Where You Are
You don't need a studio. You need a porch and a reason to sit still.
The wraparound porch and the quiet of the ridge do most of the work — bring a mat, find a corner with a view, and let the mountain set the pace. If you'd rather be guided, Blue Ridge has a real wellness scene worth the short drive: studios in town offer everything from vinyasa to sound-bath restorative sessions, and a few even stream classes you can join from the cabin. It's the rare kind of trip where "I should really unplug" and "I should really get some work done" don't have to compete.
